Mind, Body, Spirit (73)
The spiritual components of daily living and optimal health are commonly neglected in prevailing education, medical and psychological paradigms. This introductory course will explore that neglect by examining spiritual features of everyday life primarily from a psychological perspective with a focus on health. Topics covered will include cultivating gratitude, forgiveness, life purpose and kindness as well as mind, body, spirit solutions to everyday problems. Meditation and other stress management practices will be explored.

Lifestyle Fitness Challenge (84)
Exploration and improvement of overall health. Wellness, physical fitness, nutrition, cardio endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and stress management. Introductions to weight and cardio equipment, outdoor workouts, spinning, strength and tone workouts, and yoga. Before and after fitness assessment.

Introduction to Personal Training (88)
Foundational knowledge in various aspects of health and fitness including human anatomy and exercise science. An in-depth understanding of how to apply foundation knowledge to real world (practical) situations. Discounted ACE study materials and exam registration. An opportunity to get certified as a Personal Trainer through one of the world’s leading organization on health and fitness, The American Council on Exercise (ACE).
