Club Sports Overview
Club sports is a select group of 20 student-run athletic clubs that compete in intercollegiate competitions at the highest level possible and receive funding through special fees.  Because many teams belong to Intercollegiate Athletic organizations, competition in some sports may be limited to students or undergraduates, but all Stanford affiliates are welcome to join.  In addition, several Club Sports organize recreational leagues and events for the Stanford community.
