Stanford University News Service

The Stanford News Service provides assistance to reporters and disseminates much of the university's news. We publish Stanford Report, the university's newspaper, every Wednesday during the academic year and post daily updates on the web. News releases also are available through this website.

The News Service also helps to publicize and handle media relations for major events, provides media training for key faculty and administrators and serves as a liaison between scholars and media outlets. Check out our FAQs for information on how to seek coverage of news and events, submit material to our publications, or contact the News Service staff.
