Overview
As neurosurgeons, we share your goal of providing the best possible
care for patients with neurosurgical disease. We also strive to
integrate training, research, and the development of novel technology
with clinical care. In some cases, referring physicians seek a secondary
consultation to confirm an opinion, to request more extensive diagnostic
evaluations than may be available locally, or to have patients receive
specialized treatment that they may be unable to provide. Please
feel free to contact our faculty. Our search engine can help you
quickly locate a Stanford specialist particularly interested in
your patient's problem. Referring physicians are welcome to participate
in our Department's educational activities listed under Announcements.
Throughout and after their treatment at Stanford, we encourage patients
to maintain close contact with their primary care and referring
physicians.
