interdisciplinary teams of physicians, nurses and health care professionals
to address complex and difficult neurological problems. Doctors
in the General Neurosurgery Clinics and its eight sub-specialty
clinics examine all neurologic disorders of the central and peripheral
nervous system. Our entire medical staff works closely with specialized
teams of medical providers in order to ensure that patients receive
thorough diagnoses and effective treatments that are tailored to
their specific medical needs. Last year, Stanford and Packard neurosurgeons performed 1,600 complex neurosurgical procedures in the hospitals 21 operating rooms, which are open 24 hours per day and are equipped with the most advanced medical technology available. These resources help us deliver excellent medical care to patients
and support to their families. |
