Administrative Advantage Essentials Series


Series Overview

  • Essentials I is a series of 5 classes offered over a 5-week period for administrative associates (A1-A5) offered twice a year.
  • It is intended for those who seek an introduction to essential skills and concepts in the areas of: career management, communication, influencing, time management, change management and personal leadership, in order to enhance their work effectiveness and job satisfaction.
  • Course participants must complete all 5 courses to receive a certificate of completion.

A Unique Learning Experience

The series offers the administrative professional a unique experience in several ways:

  • Class size is limited to 15.
  • The curriculum involves significant and active in-class participation, role-playing, small group interaction, discussion, brief homework assignments, and action-planning, in order to enable the participants to apply the skills they have learned to their workplaces.
  • Participants have an opportunity to build a network of colleagues over a 5 week period for on-going support, resources and information sharing, both during the course as well as afterwards.
