Lecturer in French
The Stanford Language Center invites applications for a full-time, three-year teaching appointment as Lecturer in French beginning September 1, 2014. The position is renewable. Minimum qualifications: MA in linguistics, applied linguistics, and/or French language and literature, Ph.D. preferable. Applicants should have experience teaching a broad range of French language courses at the college level and possess native or near-native fluency in French with an excellent command of English. Preference is given to candidates familiar with standards-based instruction and ACTFL OPI and WPT principles, with tester/rater certifications in hand or in progress. The salary is competitive.
