Browser Recommendations for
Administrative Applications
In October 2006 Microsoft released Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla released Firefox 2. Neither browser has been certified to work correctly with Stanford's key administrative applications.
If you choose to upgrade to either Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 2 and encounter problems, it is recommended that you revert to the previous version. Click here for instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and return to Internet Explorer 6.
Stanford recommends changing a couple of settings to your browser if you are using Internet Explorer (IE). See the instructions for your version of IE for more information: IE 6 for Windows or IE 5.2 for Mac OS X.

1. Until final certification of Safari, Firefox will be used with
the PCard and iOUapplications. Financial Systems Support recommends that
you upgrade your Firefox browser to version 1.5.0.4 if your work requires
you to access either of these applications.
2. Kronos 5
requires Mac OS X v. 10.3.7 or 10.3.9.
3. The browser must
access Citrix in order to run
the application.
4. Any Mozilla-based browser may also work.
5. The browser must access the application via Connect.
