Handsfree Calling

Handsfree calling lets you use the built-in microphone and speaker instead of the handset or a headset.

Use Handsfree Calling

• Press the Speakerphone button to activate handsfree.
  The Speakerphone indicator lights when handsfree is active.

End a Handsfree Call

• Press the Goodbye key.

Notes

• Handsfree calling is not available for the IP Phone 2001; these sets do not have a Speakerphone button.
  
  
• When handsfree is active, picking up the handset automatically deactivates it. This can be done in the middle of a call. To reactivate handsfree, press the Speakerphone button. If the Speakerphone indicator is lit, you can place the handset back in the cradle without disconnecting the call. If the indicator is NOT lit, replacing the handset in the cradle disconnects the call.
