Auto Dial

Auto Dial lets you dedicate a Feature key to a specific telephone number. This lets you to automatically dial one frequently used number by pressing a single key.

Program Auto Dial

  1. Press the Autodial Feature key without lifting the handset.
    The arrow indicator next to the Autodial key flashes

  2. Dial the 5 digit on-campus telephone number OR dial 9 + telephone number.

  3. Press the Autodial key again.
    The arrow indicator next to the Autodial key turns off

Label Your Autodial Feature Key

  1. On the display, press the Menu soft key.

  2. Press the Down navigation key to scroll down the list and highlight item #4, Feature.

  3. Press OK.

  4. Use the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight the Autodial key you wish to label. (If you do not have an Autodial key, this feature is not available on your phone.)

  5. Press the Label soft key.

  6. At the Enter Label prompt, use the dial pad keys that correspond to the letters you wish to use.

  7. Press OK when you are finished to save the label.

  8. Press the Quit key to close the menu. You will now see the new label on your Feature keys display.

Initiate an Auto Dial Call

  1. Lift your handset.

  2. Press the Feature key that is associated with the number you want to auto dial.
    The programmed number is automatically dialed

Notes

  • Only one number can be stored under this button. The stored number can contain up to 24 digits.

  • Do not store your authorization code as part of your auto dial number for security purposes. (Unauthorized individuals can have access to your authorization code by using your auto dial button.)

  • To change a number, simply program the new number over the existing number.

  • To delete a number, simply enter # instead of the number.
