Programming the Keys on an ATC Impression Phone

The ATC Impression's twenty user-programmable feature keys allow you to dial frequently called telephone numbers and/or activate features by pressing a single key.*

There are two styles of ATC Impression sets in use at Stanford; newer style sets marked COMDIAL and older style sets, not marked COMDIAL. Each set has 20 speed call buttons, but the procedure for programming the buttons varies slightly depending upon the type of set you have.

Consequently, there are two different methods of programming speed dial. The two methods are described below.

Program a speed dial button on an ATC impression set marked COMDIAL

  1. Leave handset on-hook BUT get dial tone via speaker button
  2. Press STORE
  3. Dial number to be stored
  4. Press desired MEMORY BUTTON
  5. Press STORE
  6. Release dial tone

Program a speed dial button on an ATC impression set NOT marked COMDIAL

  2. Press STORE
  3. Dial number to be stored
  4. Press desired MEMORY BUTTON
  5. Press STORE
