I think I've met with everybody now, and there's a few things that need to happen so we can get (keep?) this ball rolling. I'll schedule a meeting in a couple of weeks with the full project team (Scotty, Bruce, Russ, Quanah, and I) and we'll check-up on the items below. The plan: rebuild shib2, have Scotty install shib on it, then have Quanah put together a machine template based on what is installed on shib2, packaging where necessary. Russ is available for support on packaging. I understand there are a bunch of dependencies for packaging any of this stuff. Russ, can you send a list of what we actually have to do here? In the meantime, Bruce and I will pursue getting policy changes in place to allow shib to assert identities on behalf of stanford.edu and put together a process by which clients can request stanford join existing federations and/or start our own. We'll get started on this once Bruce is back from vacation. Please use shibboleth-team for all project-related conversation.
