This page lays out the process used by the Stanford University IT Services Project Management Office (PMO) for Portfolio and Project Management.
The Methodology
The IT Services PMO follows the Project Management Institute (PMI) global standard with adaptations for specific focus on Information Technology and the organization as a whole. The PMO also applies elements covered in the Stanford University Advanced Project Management program, specifically around Portfolio Management.

Toolkits
Toolkits are a collection of documents for both PMO Project Managers and Embedded Project Managers combined to create a package, or set of standard tools and information designed to facilitate the management and implementation of a project.
