Systems Administration

What We Do

The Systems Administration group consists of the Windows Systems Team and the UNIX Systems & Applications. These groups provide a fee-based client server support model within the Forsythe Data Center as well as providing system and application support for a variety of infrastructure services.

Our clients range from departments with one–two servers to schools with 15–30 servers housed within the Forsythe Data Center.  We support RedHat Linux, Debian Linux, Windows 2003, and soon Windows 2008.

Infrastructure services supported within Systems Administration include:

• Authentication services (Active Directory, Kerberos)
• Email
• Web services
• Directory services (LDAP, Active Directory)
• Timeshare services
