Operator Services Center
What We Do
The Operator Services Center (OSC) is a 24x7/365 call center for Stanford University, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, Stanford School of Medicine, and Lucille Salter Packard Children's Hospital. The OSC staff handles dispatching for emergency Code calls at the Hospitals, provides overhead paging services, and provides communication services for defined procedures, such as disaster response team notifications.
During evening, weekends, and holiday hours, the OSC also answers calls for assistance and referral relating to Residential and Dining Services, Campus Facility Operations, environmental health and safety, organ offerings, body donations, CATH team, and Dialysis and Transplant Services. In times of natural or other disasters, the OSC is an Emergency Operational Center (EOC) for the Hospitals and the University.
The OSC also operates a Pager Administration Office at the Hospital to assist staff in obtaining and repairing pagers.
