Data and Systems Integration

What We Do

The Data and Systems Integration team is responsible for participating in the design, implementation, configuration and integration of technology solutions, both internally built and managed as well as third-party applications installed and configured for use by IT Services and clients campus-wide and implementing technology solutions that need to connect to the campus infrastructure, such as the campus- wide file system, web services, directories, information registries, and campus security suite.

This team is also responsible for:

  • Management and support of data extractions from campus directories and registry systems;
  • Implement, document, support and advocate solutions that cut across Stanford’s diverse infrastructure and information systems in support of our client’s needs;
  • Provide leadership in technology direction, technology services, vendor and standards alignment, and partnerships;
  • Integrate technology in service of clients needs so that solutions are scalable, common, and consistent;
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and identify needs that cut across technology or systems;
  • Assessment and analysis of API and Intersystem flow;
  • Identify process changes that improve client access to data;
  • Works closely with IT Services technical architecture groups on direction setting;
  • Participates and recommends technology best practices to IT Services.
