What We Do
The Finance group is part of Business Services, which assists IT Services in supporting teaching, learning, and research at Stanford. Among IT Services Finance's major functions are budgeting, forecasting, reporting, reconciliation, contracting, capital asset planning, and strategic formulation. The goal is to safeguard Stanford's resources by minimizing the costs and maximizing the value of the University's administrative and academic computing, telecommunications, networking, and data systems, and the services that support them. The group's functions involve a range of activities including service rating, billing, invoice auditing, contract monitoring, and vendor relations.
