I-Center Programs
of General Interest
- English-in-Action,
an opportunity to practice English conversation for one hour each week
with an English-speaking partner. Apply at the English-in-Action desk, in the main I-Center foyer,
weekdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., during the academic year.

Classes in English , both verbal and composition taught by experienced
volunteers. Pick up a schedule at the I-Center.
- International
Speakers Bureau, a chance to inform local school children and community
groups about your country or your perspective on current world events

- Home Hospitality
Program: An opportunity to meet occasionally with a local family.
Application forms are on the I-Center bulletin board.
- Interest Groups:
Musicians, tennis players and those with hobbies can find others who
share their interests through sign-up lists at the I-Center.

Language Classes and Conversation Groups are offered in several
languages. Check the bulletin board for details.

Art, crafts and other types of classes are offered at the I-Center.
- Film Series
are offered through the year.
- The Outing Club
organizes weekend day trips especially hiking and outdoor activities.
