Petitioning for H-1B status at Stanford University. Please be aware that as of March 8, 2005, the CIS will collect a $500 “anti-fraud” fee with each initial petition submitted on behalf of an H-1 temporary worker. The fee is for initial petitions only, not extensions, and must be paid by the employer.
