Carol Liu, '05 wrote, produced, and directed a short film
entitled Mei that fused questions regarding her own experience
as a Chinese American woman with her skills as a filmmaker. Carol’s
project grew out of English courses on female writers which allowed
her to explore the genesis and shape of her own voice and the voices
of Chinese women in history. She wrote, directed, edited, and produced
six short films since her freshman year. More![]()
