Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (GUS)

The Office of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (GUS) in the School of Humanities and Sciences (H&S) is here to help you in any way it can. Please feel free to drop by our office on the second floor of Building One in the Main Quad to browse our information, ask a question, or just sit and chat. We are here to serve you. If we can’t answer your questions, we will help you find someone who can. Contact us for information including:

Resources

There is a plethora of resources available to you here at Stanford. These resources will assist you academically, socially, mentally, and physically so that you can enjoy a more fruitful graduate experience.

  • Stanford Writing Center - H&S partners with the Stanford Writing Center (SWC) to offer writing assistance to graduate students. Whether you are working on a paper for a class or your dissertation, they can help you. Contact the SWC directly for an appointment.
