LISTING SERVICE:
The Community Housing office accepts rental listings from people in the Stanford Community, which current and incoming Stanford affiliates can access through this website. Stanford affiliates with SUNet IDs can access the rental listings though the Rental Listings pages. Incoming Stanford affiliates who do not yet have SUNet IDs will need to request a temporary user name and password.

STANFORD'S ON-CAMPUS GRADUATE HOUSING SUBLEASE DATABASE:
Student Housing has created a sublease database to make it easier for graduate students to find sublease tenants for one academic term per year, with certain restrictions. Stanford students living in graduate housing may post a listing for their space in graduate housing, including Oak Creek and Stanford West. Stanford (non-undergraduate) affiliates who are looking for a short-term room or apartment for the may view the sublease listings. During the academic year, only students taking a vacation quarter or a one-quarter leave of absence may sublet their spaces in graduate housing. During autumn term, only enrolled matriculated graduate students may take an on-campus student housing sublet.

SUBSIDIZED STUDENT HOUSING:
During the 2008-09 academic year, the off-campus apartment program will be providing housing for approximately 140 single graduate students. We have completed the first several rounds of assignments. Any vacancies from late terminations will be filled during the Friday assignment rounds each week. There are currently only 11 men and 8 women on the subsidized housing waiting list.

Rental Listing Service
If you are trying to find a housing rental, you are in luck! There are quite a few places to choose from, and although rents are still higher than in many parts of the country, the market is much better for renters than it was a few years ago.
