Most of the Community Housing web site is restricted
to current Stanford students, faculty, staff, and visiting
scholars and researchers. Entering students and newly hired
employees may also use the restricted sections of the site.
To access the restricted sections of the site, current Stanford
affiliates must use a link for those with SUNet IDs. Incoming Stanford affiliates must request a temporary ID and enter the site using a separate link, through which they would enter their pre-assigned username and password.
This pre-assigned username and password is NOT a SUNet
ID.
To receive your preassigned user name and password,
please send a copy of your proof of Stanford affiliation
to the Community Housing office. You may fax it
to (650) 736-1297, scan it and e-mail it to communityhousing@lists.stanford.edu, or mail it to Community Housing,
630 Serra Street #110, Stanford, CA 94305-6034.
Be sure to include your e-mail address and mailing address.
We will send you the information within two working days
of receiving the proof of affiliation.
Whenever possible, proof of affiliation must be in the
form of a written document from Stanford University to you.
Possible documents include Stanford identification cards,
letters of admission, job offers, and letters welcoming
visiting scholars or researchers to a department. Exceptions
would include forwarded e-mail messages that are clearly
from Stanford, and medical resident matching sheets.
