Giovanni Tempesta has been a lecturer in Italian at Stanford University since 1983 and has taught at all levels of language instruction. He is the author of the Italian grammar book Questa bellissima lingua italiana, impariamola insieme! and has just published his Italian translation of The Cremation of Sam McGee and Other Verses by Robert Service. He is currently working on a collection of his own poetry.
