Take Highway 101 South to Embarcadero Road West. Proceed approximately two miles and turn right onto El Camino Real. The hotel is located three blocks down and on the right side.

Take Interstate 280 East and exit onto Page Mill Road East. Proceed approximately two miles and turn left onto El Camino Real. The hotel is located two miles down and on the right side.
To the Humanities Center from the hotel (shuttle directions):
1. The hotel is right next door to the Palo Alto transit center, where the free Marguerite shuttle leaves to go to campus (about every 15 minutes).
2. To get to the Humanities Center, take the B-line clockwise shuttle and get off at the stop for Tresidder Student Union (the driver will be able to indicate it to you – it’s about a 12 minute shuttle ride). The Humanities Center is right around the corner to the left – walk past the right-hand side of the Faculty Club, through the grove to the Humanities Center.
To the Humanities Center from the hotel (driving directions):
1. Turn right out of the back parking lot and through the transit center (around the loop)
2. Turn right onto University Ave., which then turns into Palm Dr. (~.5 mi.)
3. Turn right onto Campus Drive West at four-way stop (1.1 mi.)
5. Turn left at Santa Teresa Street (~.5 mi.)
Look for parking behind the Humanities Center at 424 Santa Teresa Street. If there is no available parking behind the Center, turn back around and take a left at Lomita Drive and left at Lagunita Drive into Tresidder parking lot.
Walk past the right-hand side of the Faculty Club, through the grove to the Humanities Center.
To the Humanities Center from Highway 101 North & South:
1. Take Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford (2.3 mi.)
2. Embarcadero becomes Galvez St. as you enter Stanford (.3 mi.) [Bear left at first fork in the road towards center of campus]

Forms for Travel reimbursement
Unfortunately, given the state of the economy this year, CICIS funds are significantly lower than usual. As a result, we can promise to cover your hotel – though we urge you to share rooms whenever possible (please try to organize sharing a room with someone from your campus, and indicate this on the form). We expect to be able to cover travel for all those who need it, as well, but to help us out, please request travel coverage from your chair or department as much as possible.
Hotel rooms will be booked for you and paid for directly by the CICIS Conference fund. For travel, please save all your receipts.
All American participants have to complete a W-9
This form will also be given to you at the conference.
