Parent Access to Student Records

The Financial Aid Office does not provide copies of application documents to anyone other than the signatory of the requested document. Students requesting copies of parents’ application documents must submit a written release from the parents to the Financial Aid Office. Parent financial information will not be discussed with the student unless prior permission has been received.

Similarly, parents requesting copies of documents that contain student information must submit a written release from the student.

Federal Parent PLUS Loans

The Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) provides the Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS) available to parents of undergraduate students. This loan requires that students enroll in a degree program at the half-time level or above.
