Schools and Degree Programs
Stanford offers graduate degrees in more than 60 departments and programs. Some departments admit students for a master's program only; others award master's degrees only to students enrolled in other degree programs. Most departments will admit students for doctoral study directly from a bachelor's program, although some require completion of a master's degree before approval for doctoral work.
