The 1997 Stanford Tango Week:
Schedule

The Tango Week begins with registration on Sunday night, July 6, immediately followed by tango dancing with music by The Buenos Aires Connection and the introduction of the faculty and staff. An information packet will include logistical details and the final class schedule.

Classes will be held Monday through Friday. The daily schedule includes six class periods in three concurrent sites, for 18 choices per day. There will also be a complete schedule track for beginners, as there was last year.

Evenings: Four evenings feature dancing to live tango music. The Friday night concert by the masters and final Tango Ball at Stanford is included in the tuition.

Tango By The Bay: The Bay Area Argentine Tango Association will present "Tango by the Bay," a large-scale milonga in San Francisco, on Saturday July 12. Discounted admission is offered to Tango Week participants. E-mail batango@ix.netcom.com for further information.
