Kasey Brown

Kasey Church Brown began her ballet training at The Academy of Dance in San Luis Obispo under the direction of Lori Lee Silvaggio, where she was a member of The Civic Ballet Company from 1992-1996. Before graduating from high school, Kasey attended the Boston Ballet Summer Program in1995, where she studied with then Artistic Director Anne Marie Holmes. Kasey went on to graduate from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2000.

During her time at UCSB, Kasey toured and taught classes throughout California and into Nevada as a member of the UCSB Modern Dance Company. Since arriving in the Silicon Valley, Kasey has earned a Masters in Dance Education from Stanford University. She has also performed with The Santa Clara Ballet. Currently, Kasey teaches the Ballet II classes at Stanford University and is a faculty member at Foothill College and West Valley College, where she teaches Ballet and Pilates.
