One common way that undergraduates in the Department of Classics is by participating in one of the large scale research project sponsored by the Department. Most recently, these have been archaeological excavations (digs) in Italy with Professor Jennifer Trimble (the Roman Forum) and Professor Ian Morris (Monte Polizzo).
