For undergraduate students, every year the Department of Classics offers grants for summer research and extraordinary educational pursuits. Preference for these awards are given to students traveling to and doing research in the Mediterranean. Food and other incidentals are generally not funded by these awards. This year the deadline is January 22, 2008. The process for applying for these funds is as follows:
Attach a completed Application for Graduate Financial Support
Attach to it a detailed research proposal (in narrative form) that details both your intended travel as well as your research. You should demonstrate a strong intellectual content
Make six copies and submit to Alicia Kester
