Scott Arcenas

A native of Casper, Wyoming, Scott arrived at university with only a vague conception of what this whole 'Classics' thing was all about.  Upon learning that 'dead languages' were his only means of meeting distribution requirements without 9:00 A.M. classes, five days a week, however, he wisely enrolled in Denis Feeney's Latin 101 and, since that moment, has never looked back.  As a PhD candidate on the Ancient History track, his interests include Greek Political and Economic History, with an emphasis on reform movements, as well as Roman Numismatics.
