Irene Polinskaya is a Greek historian with special interests in social and religious history, epigraphy, archaeology, and issues of method in classical studies. She has published articles on the approaches to the study of Greek religion, as well as on the epigraphy of Aigina. Her book on the pantheon of Aigina in the Archaic and Classical periods is forthcoming. Current projects include the study of public land leasing in Attica on the basis of epigraphic evidence; epigraphy of the Black Sea; and preparation of an archaeological survey of Aigina.
