Eirene Visvardi

Eirene is assistant professor of Classics at Brandeis University. Her research interests include ancient Greek drama, Greek lyric poetry, ancient aesthetics, ancient and modern theater, and theories of performance and the emotions. Eirene teaches classes on Greek and Latin at all levels. Her classes explore the aesthetics, ethics, and politics of dance and dramatic performance from Homer to the Greek dramatists and beyond.
