Intermediate Latin: Nepos and Catullus

Classics majors and minors must take this course for a letter grade. Translation of selections from Nepos' Life of Atticusand poems of Catullus. Emphasis is on syntax and grammar; questions concerning place and function of Catullus' erotic poetry and Nepos' biography in the late Roman Republic.
