Former Classics lecturer Patrick Hunt named National Lecturer for the Archaeological Institute of America
Dr Patrick Hunt, who was a Lecturer in Classics for a number of years between 1994-2008, has been chosen out of hundreds of nominees as a National Lecturer for 2009-2010 by the Archaeological Institute of America, traveling on the A.I.A. speakers’ circuit across the country. He has also been busy filming again for National Geographic Explorer TV (2009) on the Romans and History Channel (2009) on Hannibal as well as ESPN (2009) on Hannibal's alpine march, and for PBS on ancient art, and is also assisting on a BBC Hannibal production. Hunt is a Visiting Fellow 2009-2010 at the Hoover Institution conducting Hannibal research for a forthcoming book.
