Zare wins Allen Award

Professor Richard Zare, The Marguerite Blake Wilbur Professor in Natural Science and the Department of Chemistry Chair, has received the H. Julian Allen Award 2007 in recognition as co-author of the outstanding scientific paper entitled " UV Irradiation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Ices: Production of Alcohols, Quinones, and Ethers," Science 283, 1135-1138 (1999) from NASA Ames Research Center, January 10, 2008.
