New Mail Groups

The Chemistry Department has created two new mail groups to help let the Chemistry community know about upcoming events. These mail groups are in addition to This Week in Chemistry (TWIC) and you need to signup separately for each mail group if you are interested.

Chemistry Symposia:
Advertises large symposia sponsored by the Chemistry Department. A large percentage of the members of this mail group are graduates of the department or professionals in industry who are interested in attending day-long symposia. Information about the Johnson and Merck Symposia, in addition to the Sessler and Stauffer Lectures will be advertised on this mail group. The notices are generated by the Chemistry Department’s event coordinator.

Other Seminars:
Advertises seminars and other events that would be of interest to the Chemistry Department population but are not sponsored by the department. There is no guarantee information sent on this list is accurate. If you are interested in an event advertised on this mail group make sure to double check the time and location with the event organizers. Anyone may submit event information to this list.
