Professor Michael D. Fayer wins award

Stanford Chemistry Professor Michael Fayer won the ACS E. Bright Wilson Award in Spectroscopy. The award, sponsored by the Rohm and Haas Company, recognizes outstanding accomplishments in fundamental or applied spectroscopy in chemistry.

Fayer is the David Mulvane Ehrsam and the Edward Curtis Franklin Professor in Chemistry. As the winner of the W. Bright Wilson Award, he recieved $5,000 and a certificate. Fayer will deliver an award address at the spring awards symposium of the ACS Division of Physical Chemistry.
