Zare Awarded Howard Hughes Professorship - $1 million

Richard N. Zare, the Marguerite Blake Wilbur Professor in Natural Science at Stanford, and Chair of the Chemistry Department has been named a 2006 Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor.

Zare will receive $1 million to develop a new undergraduate course which combines the studies of chemistry, physics, and biology to the study of light and photosynthesis. For the full story, see
