Ryan McGlothlin former graduate student killed in action

Lieutenant Ryan McGlothlin was killed in action on November 16th in Iraq while leading his Marines against insurgents near the Syrian border. Ryan graduated from William and Mary College in Virginia then came to Stanford University as a Ph.D. candidate in chemistry in September 2001. For more information see
