Dai group discovers new method to make SWNTs

Researchers in the Dai group have found a new method for creating high-yield single-walled carbon nanotubes. Carbon nanotubes exhibit extraordinary strength, flexibility and unique mechanical and optical properties. These hollow fibers are cousins of the Nobel Prize-winning buckyballs.
