ACS Awards Announced

On August 29, 2005, Chemical and Engineering News announced the following awards to Stanford Chemistry Faculty.

Edward I. Solomon, the Monroe E. Spaght Professor in Chemistry, received the ACS Award for Distinguished Service in the Advancement of Inorganic Chemstry which was sponsored by Strem Chemicals.

Hans C. Andersen, David Mulvane Ehrsam and Edward Curtis Franklin Professor in Chemistry, received the ACS Award in Theoretical Chemistry sponsored by IBM.

Justin Du Bois, received the Elias J. Corey Award for Outstanding Original Contribution in Organic Synthesis by a Young Investigator sponsored by the Pfizer Endowment Fund.
