Faculty
Students must choose an academic advisor and a research advisor. Because BMC is a major in the School of Engineering, academic advisors must have an appointment in the School of Engineering. Research mentors can be from anywhere at Stanford, so long as students perform a substantial Biomedical Computation research project. A list of Biomedical Computation Faculty members, both in and out of the School of Engineering, can be found on the Faculty page.
Students and Alumni
BMC is growing quite rapidly as a major. From 2003 to 2007, BMC has graduated 22 students, and the major is only getting larger. Visit the students page to see BMC classmates past and present.
