1. Can I take any classes CR/NC?
No, all courses for the minor must be taken for a letter grade.
2. Is there a unit limitation on the classes I can take?
Yes; all courses must be worth 3 or more units. For Out-of-Department Electives, be sure to pay attention to the accepted number of units for Biology for each class (for example, a class may be worth 4 units, but only acceptable for 2 units applied to the minor)
3. Can I take lower-division classes?
The only lower-division classes you can count toward the minor are the Bio Core (BIO 41, 42, 43)
4. Do the Bio core labs count toward the minor?
No.
5. Can I count BIO 199 toward the minor?
Yes, but you can only count it once, and it must have been taken for exactly 3 units.
