From Bing Nursery School

  • NPR's April 8, 1997 Talk of the Nation: A study by the Institute of Child Health and Human Development finds that children in quality day care programs can learn to think and talk just as well as those cared for by their mothers at home. The study concludes that home life, not day care, has more of an impact on children. Jeanne Lepper, Director of Bing Nursery School & Lecturer in the Stanford Department of Psychology, takes part in this discussion.
