Main Authority View

Authority Manager home page allows you to view authority information from a variety of perspectives. There are some pre-selected views available for you based on your authority assignments. Under the My Authority category, you see a view of your authority and a view of your designated drivers. Under the Authority Folders category, a view is available for each top level organization you hold authority within.

 

	Your own current authority view.
	View a list of your own proxies on the proxies view page.
	Organization views - select the top level AA00 (not recommended) or use find.
	Business function views for business owners - not all users will have access to these views.
	Find a person - this view provides the person's current authority once you select them from the find popup window. In addition, you can toggle to their "Recently Revoked Authority" or "Proxy Settings".
	Find an organization - this view provides the current authority assignments once an organization is selected.

 

Additionally, you can generate a view of authority for any organization or any person in the university by using the Find a person at Stanford and the Find an Organization tools found under the Tools header. The next few pages will take you on a tour of the Organization view, Person view, Proxy view, and then gives you a chance to go look at your own authority assignments.
