Q: How do I get my copy of the Arts Guide CD?
You can pick up your free copy of the Arts Guide DVD in the SiCa Office!

Q: I put the DVD in my DVD drive and it does not Auto-play.
Double click on the DVD icon on your desktop (MAC) or in My Computer (PC) to view the files. Double-click on the "ArtsGuide.exe" file (PC), or double-click on the file named "ArtsGuide" (MAC). You can also view it in your browser by double clicking on the “ArtsGuide_web_browser.html” file, but you will need Flash player version 8 to view it.
Q: I double click on the "ArtsGUide_web_browser.html" file and I get a message saying I need the latest version of Flash.
You will need to follow the link to http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer and download Flash player version 8. You may need to restart your computer after the installation.
Q: I am using Inernet Explorer or some other browser and it is crashing while I view the Arts Guide.
Try using FireFox or Safari (MAC), or an alternate browser. Try closing other programs while viewing the Arts Guide.
Q: The Arts Guide pops up in full-screen mode and I do not know how to get it to a smaller screen size.
Hit the “escape” key on your keyboard to toggle it to smaller window size, or click on the resize window button on your upper left in the Guide.
Q: I double click on the "ArtsGuide.exe" file (PC), or the file named "ArtsGuide" (MAC), and I get an error message saying I need to have administrator access to run the file.
You do need to have administrative access to run the Arts Guide. The Arts Guide does not install anything on your computer, it is simply a projector program which projects the Flash player.
Q: The videos play but they are choppy.
Your DVD drive may be too slow to view the Guide. Please see the System Requirements below for more information. Try closing other programs and applications while you view the Arts Guide.
Q: Where do I get a physical copy of the Arts Guide CD?
If you are an incoming freshman, you should receive your copy in the mail the first week of April. Otherwise, the Arts Guide is available at the following events and locations:

* An Art Affair festival
* Admit Weekend Events

Software Requirements
You will need Flash player version 8 or higher to view the contents of the Arts Guide online. This is available from: http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer. If you are running the Arts Guide from the DVD, you will not need any specific software.
