More Features!!

Friday, October 6th, 2006

I’ve been getting things up and working over the past 24 hours and I hope it hasn’t caused any of you any problems.

But I just thought I’d point out a few of the features of this site in case you missed them.

  • Every post that goes up on the site is posted to the site RSS feed. If you have an RSS reader, it will tell you when new things get posted and let you read them there. Look for the link at the bottom of the sidebar. Most newer browsers support feeds. If yours doesn’t, get a new browser.
  • Events with dates should appear in chronological order in the sidebar above the calendar automatically. So now you can see what’s happening at a glance.
  • I’ve added a photostream that links to a flickr account where we’ll be able to upload photos and such of classes, work, or related things. You can see a sweet tiny slideshow on the sidebar of the frontpage, click on it and you can see larger versions. I’ve got very few photos at the moment, so start snapping!

That’s about it for now. Let me know what you think, or if anything can be improved.
