diverse schools and coherent pathways to college and work.

small school or learning community where he/she is known, respected,
and safe.
4) Every student should have an advocate at
school that knows his/her goals and challenges.
5) Every student should have qualified teachers
with no more than 80 other students.
6) Every student should receive the extra time
and attention he/she needs to succeed.
7) Every student should have the opportunity
to become an expert in something he/she is passionate about and
progress and graduate by demonstrating important skills in a variety
of ways.
8) Every student should have the opportunity
to use current technology and participate in extracurricular activities
and adult world learning experiences.
9) Every student should receive academic, college,
and career guidance that results in an appropriate choice of post
secondary learning opportunities.
10) Every student should have the means-tested
financial aid to attend college or post secondary learning institution
of his/her choice.
